I love my new ironing board! A friend of mine bought a new ironing board and was throwing out their old one so I was happy to take it off their hands since I only had a "mini" board.
Sure their old board is a little bent, but all it really needed was a new cover. I bought a new pad for the board at Joannes for $10 and I followed this tutorial that I found on Pinterest to create the new orange cover. It only took about 2 yards of fabric and 3 yards of elastic. Sure I spent about 30 minutes frustrated over the corners since I'm new to gathering fabric. But once I figured it out I was pleased with the outcome. It was a great tutorial and I highly recommend it for anyone needing to replace their cover!
