Crochet-Along-Together (CAT) Coming in March!

I am so excited to announce that I am hosting the first ever Crochet-Along-Together (CAT) for Skacel Collection, Inc. I designed this first pattern for absolute beginners. “Easy as 1-2-3” is a three color cowl perfect for those who want to learn how to crochet. The pattern features three of the most commonly used crochet stitches in an order that allows you to build your skills. Each stitch is worked in a different color creating eye catching blocks of color that also help you learn to read your stitches. If you have been wanting to learn to crochet but are looking for more than just a plain design, this pattern is for you!

This design features:
  • Three colors of HiKoo® Simplicity
  • 1 skein each of your three favorite colors. (shown in colors 36 Silver Hair (A), 09 Aqua Mint (B), 10 Deep Turquoise (C))
  • Written Instructions, Charts, and Video Tutorials (which will be released during the CAT)
  • Skills you will learn include how to work a chain, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. How to whip stitch, weave in ends, read a crochet pattern, and read a crochet chart.
Finished Dimensions: 47” Circumference, 5.25” Width

The pattern will be released on Ravelry March 2nd.

In the meantime feel free to stop over and introduce yourself at the Skacel Group where the CAT will be hosted!

MandoBug Crafts New Format

Recently I've changed the format of my podcast to better fit my life schedule. I've broken the podcast up into separate videos. Each segment is its own video now. This allows me to record many videos at once and slowly release them. It's hard to find time to record frequently but this is working out well! Also, links to everything can now be found in the description box of the respective YouTube video! I recommend you subscribe for a feed to my channel.

I showed an Eat Sleep Knit Haul

And I even did a Get Ready With Me

I look forward to the new direction of my YouTube channel. I hope you are enjoying it as well!
