- I recommend starching the cross for a stiff finish to maintain its shape.
Rnd 1: Ch24, sl st in 8th ch from hook, ch 4, sk 3 ch, sl st in next ch (mark this stitch), *ch 12, sl st in 8th ch from hook, ch 4, sk 3 ch, sl st in next ch* rep from * to * once more, sl st in marked st, **ch 4, sk 3 ch, sl st in next ch** rep from ** to ** 2 more times, sl st to first ch to join. (you should now see the cross shape)
